Pro Civil Works is seeking experienced Plant Operators to join our team on regional civil infrastructure projects across NSW.
n
This role will suit operators who are comfortable working away from home for extended periods and operating as part of a travelling civil crew. You must be prepared to work a living-away-from-home roster, with accommodation provided while working on regional projects.
n
We are looking for reliable, capable operators who take pride in their equipment, understand civil construction, work safely, and can contribute to a productive crew without needing constant supervision.
n
The Role
n
Depending on your experience, you may operate equipment including:
n
n
Excavators from approximately 5T through to 30T
n
Skid steers / compact track loaders
n
Loaders
n
Rollers
n
Tippers and other civil plant
n
Excavators fitted with augers and attachments
n
n
Typical works may include:
n
n
Bulk earthworks
n
Detailed excavation
n
Trenching
n
Pit and pipe installation
n
Foundation and footing excavations
n
Road and access track construction
n
Site preparation and trimming
n
Backfilling and compaction
n
General civil works associated with electrical and infrastructure projects
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for operators who have:
n
n
Demonstrated experience operating plant on civil construction projects
n




Strong excavator operating experience
n
Experience in bulk earthworks and detailed excavation
n
Experience working around services and underground infrastructure
n
A valuable understanding of safe excavation practices
n
Ability to complete daily plant inspections and look after equipment
n
Ability to work effectively within a crew
n
Strong reliability and attendance
n
A practical, safety-focused attitude
n
Willingness to assist with general site duties when required
n
n
Experience working on substations, utilities, renewable energy, transmission, distribution or other major infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
n
Essential Requirements
n

Current Australian driver's licence
n
Relevant plant tickets / VOCs
n
Construction White Card
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
n
Ability and willingness to work away from home on a roster
n
Flexibility to travel to regional NSW projects
n
n
Living Away From Home
n
This is an important part of the position.
n
Our regional crews work on projects away from Sydney and other metropolitan areas.



Applicants must be genuinely comfortable with:

Travelling to regional project locations
n
Working a living-away-from-home roster
n
Staying away for the duration of each roster swing
n
Working extended project hours where required
n
Returning home during rostered breaks
n
n
Accommodation is provided while working away from home.
n
This role will not suit someone looking exclusively for local Monday-to-Friday work.
