Join the Host team at Retro’s Gold Coast

n

We’re looking for confident, outgoing and energetic Hosts to join the team at Retro’s Gold Coast and be one of the first friendly faces our guests meet.

n

Based at the entrance of our busy Surfers Paradise venue, you’ll help create excitement, engage with passers-by and attract foot traffic into the venue.

n

This is a highly social role suited to someone who loves meeting new people, bringing energy and isn’t afraid to step into the spotlight.

About The Opportunity n

As a Host, you’ll play an significant role in creating a great first impression and building excitement around the venue.

n

You’ll be customer-facing, engaging with guests and passers-by, helping promote the venue and creating a fun atmosphere from the moment people arrive.

n

You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in themed events throughout the year, including Halloween, New Year’s Eve and other special events.

What You’ll Be Doing n

Welcoming guests and creating a positive first impression
n
Engaging confidently with customers and passers-by
n
Helping attract foot traffic and promote the venue
n




Creating excitement and energy around the venue entrance
n
Answering basic questions about the venue, events and promotions
n
Supporting the broader venue team where required
n
Getting involved in themed events, costumes and promotional activities
n
Maintaining a friendly, skilled and approachable presence at all times
n

What We’re Looking For nn
Fun, outgoing and confident personality
n
Comfortable approaching and talking to new people
n
Confident working in a busy nightlife workplace
n
Strong customer service and communication skills
n
Comfortable being customer-facing and representing the venue
n
Ability to work Fridays and Saturdays
n
Happy to dress up and get involved in themed events and costumes
n
Previous host, nightclub or hospitality experience is highly regarded, but not essential
n
Sales or promotional experience is a bonus, but not required
n
Reliable, well-presented and enthusiastic
n
Valid Australian working rights
