We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Solicitor to join our legal team in Lismore, New South Wales. This part-time, permanent position is ideal for a senior level professional looking to contribute to a dynamic legal environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality legal advice ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while supporting our clients' needs effectively.

Responsibilities:

Provide expert legal advice to clients on a range of legal matters, including civil law advice and family law
n
Undertake casework including litigation and advocacy
n
Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and court submissions.

Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
n




Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
n
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support.
n
Mentor and supervise junior solicitors and support staff as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification.
n
Admitted to practice as a solicitor in New South Wales.
n
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a legal role, preferably in a similar practice area.

Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively.
n
Proficient in legal research tools and case management software.
