About the Role

Trainer & Assessor
to join our team in Brisbane and deliver training and assessment for:
CHC***** Diploma of Community Services
CHC***** Certificate IV in Ageing Support

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, structured and industry-relevant training and assessment.
Facilitate classroom-based training in accordance with the approved training and assessment strategies.
Develop a positive and supportive learning environment.
Assess student competency in accordance with assessment requirements and organisational procedures.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, assessment outcomes and participation.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.
Identify and support individual student learning needs.




Maintain current industry knowledge and vocational competence.
Participate in career development and continuous improvement activities.
Ensure training and assessment is delivered in accordance with
ASQA requirements
and the
Standards for RTOs ****
.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have:
Relevant industry qualifications and experience in
Community Services and/or Ageing Support
.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
or an equivalent current training and assessment credential.
Demonstrated experience delivering and assessing vocational education and training.
Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
Current industry knowledge and evidence of ongoing professional development.
Ability to work independently and as part of a professional training team.
Understanding of competency-based training and assessment principles.
Desirable
Experience delivering
CHC***** Diploma of Community Services
.
Experience delivering
CHC***** Certificate IV in Ageing Support
.
Previous experience working with domestic and/or international students.
Knowledge of RTO compliance and the
Standards for RTOs ****
