Drainchem is a family-owned business (est. 2002) and Australia’s leading supplier of pipeline maintenance and testing equipment — high-pressure sewer nozzles, drain cleaning chemicals, and pipe rehabilitation and testing solutions. With exclusive supply agreements spanning 20 years and a growing customer base across civil construction, plumbing, and water authorities, we’re expanding our team to match our growth.

The Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven sales rep to join our in-house team. This is an office-based role — no cold-calling — focused on responding to inbound inquiries and growing relationships with existing clients. A few times a year you’ll represent us at trade shows, and very occasionally you’ll visit customers to present solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
Provide expert product advice to help customers make informed decisions
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base
Build strong, lasting customer relationships
Learn our dispatch system to help cover shipping when needed




Maintain accurate customer account and order data
Collaborate with marketing and procurement on sales strategy

What You’ll Need
Previous experience in sales or customer service
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple inquiries and tasks in a fast-paced setting
A problem-solving mindset — able to assess issues and recommend solutions quickly
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
MYOB experience a plus, not essential
