About the Venue

The Coach and Horses Hotel is a key venue located in the heard of Randwick with easy transport links by car, bus or light rail. It is a modernised hospitality site that benefits from high foot traffic and significant event uplift on big game days at the stadiums:

Multi level operation with three bars

Sports bar viewing on all key events

Soon to be going through a full venue refurbishment

The Role
n
As an Assistant Manager, your key focuses will include:
n
n
Leading a medium sized team and ensuring they are consistently delivering a quality customer experience
n




Setting the example for your team and driving a strong positive culture
n
Maintaining cost controls as well as working with the team on sales-driving initiatives
n
Overseeing all bar, gaming and food service whilst on shift.
n
n
Successful candidates will possess:
n
n
A strong focus on maintaining and driving service standards whilst increasinggrowth and return visitationto the venue
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have a hands-on management style
n
A customer focus, always aiming to provide exceptional customer service
n
A solid background in all facets of hotel operations, including gaming, F&B;, functions & cellar areas
n
The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
n
Greatattention to detail
n
Excellent personal presentation and communication skills
n
Strong cash handling skills
n
A desire to become a valued member of our family business and move forward in your careerwith future opportunities advertised internally first

We're Looking For Someone Who:
n
n
Brings at least 1 years of pub management experience
n
Thrives in multi-format environments with multiple revenue streams
n
Leads with energy, creativity, and a customer-first mindset
n
Has a deep understanding of gaming, F&B;, and high-volume trade
n
Is proactive with compliance, licensing and team wellbeing
n
Loves being on the floor, building relationships and mentoring talent
n
n
RSA, and RCG are essential.
