Teaching Assistant - Permanent, Full time

Location: Redbridge, East London
n
Salary: £1,800 - £2,300 per month

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Redbridge on a permanent, full-time basis.
n
Working closely with the class teacher, you will support pupils across the classroom, provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support, and help children develop both academically and personally.
n

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Support teaching and learning across the classroom
n
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils
n
Assist with targeted interventions and learning activities
n
Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
n
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
n




Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
n
Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
n
Help create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
n
n
Requirements
n
Essential:
n
n
GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
n
Experience working with children in a school, childcare or similar setting
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
A patient, positive and enthusiastic approach
n
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
n
n
Desirable:
n
n
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant
n
Experience supporting pupils with SENLevel 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
n
Degree in Education, Psychology or a related subject
n
n
