MEP Revit Drafter / Designer – Building Services

n Employment: Full-Time Contract | 6 Months+

n Rate: $55–$65 per hour

Australian Drafting & Design is seeking an experienced MEP Revit Drafter / Designer for a full-time contract position with an established engineering and project delivery client in Sydney.
n
The role will suit a Revit professional with experience in building services, healthcare, laboratories, hospitals or other highly serviced environments, particularly those with strong experience in services coordination, piping/services layouts and multidisciplinary Revit modelling.
n
You will work closely with engineering and design teams to develop coordinated MEP documentation and Revit models across technically complex projects.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Develop and maintain MEP Revit models and documentation
n
Prepare coordinated services layouts for mechanical, hydraulic, piping and other building services
n
Model and coordinate pipework, ductwork, equipment and associated services
n
Coordinate MEP services with architectural, structural and other disciplines
n
Assist with services coordination and clash
detection/resolution
n
Coordinate services within ceilings, plant rooms, risers and congested areas
n
Interpret engineering drawings, mark-ups and design information
n
Update Revit models throughout design and documentation stages
n
Assist with multidisciplinary BIM coordination
n
Prepare plans, sections, elevations, schematics and detailed services drawings
n
Maintain project BIM, drafting and documentation standards
n

About You
n




We are looking for candidates with strong Revit MEP and building services experience.
n
Experience in one or more of the following areas will be highly regarded:
n

MEP / Building Services
n
Mechanical services / HVAC
n
Piping / Pipework
n
Hydraulic / Plumbing services
n
Electrical services
n
BIM / Services Coordination
n
Healthcare or hospital projects
n
Laboratory / cleanroom environments
n
n
You should have:
n
n
Strong Autodesk Revit MEP skills
n
Previous experience in building services, MEP drafting or multidisciplinary design
n
Good understanding of services coordination and construction documentation
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and mark-ups
n
Experience coordinating services within complex or highly serviced buildings
n
Solid attention to detail
n
Good communication and coordination skills
n
Australian working rights
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
Experience working on:
n
n
Hospitals and healthcare facilities
n
Medical centres
n
Laboratories and cleanrooms
n
Pharmaceutical facilities
n
Advanced manufacturing facilities
n
Other technically complex and highly serviced buildings
n
n
Experience with Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM coordination and clash detection will also be advantageous.
