About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of electrical systems, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop low-voltage electrical systems and switchboards




Produce engineering drawings, schematics, calculations, and technical documentation
Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), commissioning, troubleshooting, and system validation activities
Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian and international standards including AS/NZS, IEC, ANZEx, and IECEx requirements
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous safety improvement initiatives
Collaborate closely with project managers, manufacturing teams, contractors, and customers to deliver high-quality outcomes
Provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle from concept through to commissioning
About You
We're looking for a motivated engineer who enjoys working on technically challenging projects and thrives in a cooperative environment.
You will bring:
Electrical trade background and/or Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 4 years' experience in electrical design and project delivery
RPEQ registration, or the ability to obtain registration
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and PowerCAD
Experience designing switchboards and LV electrical systems
Sound understanding of Australian electrical standards and compliance requirements
Highly Regarded: Experience within mining, oil & gas, defence, manufacturing, utilities, or other hazardous industrial environments
Knowledge of instrumentation, hazardous area installations,



and Ex-certified equipment
Familiarity with hazardous area certification processes and IECEx requirements
