This is a highly visible role supporting one of the organisation's most important business functions, partnering closely with senior commercial stakeholders on strategic initiatives, complex negotiations, business growth prospects, and day-to-day legal matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities of this Lead Commercial Counsel, Technology: n

Partner with senior business leaders on strategic and commercial initiatives.

Lead negotiations for complex commercial agreements and strategic partnerships.
n
Advise on a broad range of legal, operational and business matters across the region.
n
Provide pragmatic, solutions-focused legal guidance to support business objectives.




n
Manage disputes and sensitive commercial matters where required.
n
Drive legal process improvements and operational efficiencies.
n
Mentor and develop junior legal team members while contributing to the wider legal function's growth and success.

Requirements of this Lead Commercial Counsel, Technology: nn
Qualified lawyer with substantial post-qualification experience gained in private practice and/or in-house.
n
Strong background in commercial contracting, negotiations and business partnering.
n
Experience working with regional or international stakeholders.
n
Ability to operate autonomously and influence senior decision-makers.
n
Commercially astute with a pragmatic and solutions-oriented approach.
n
Prior exposure to technology, digital, consumer, hospitality, travel, marketplace, or high-growth businesses would be advantageous but not essential.
