Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Short Order Cook to join our dynamic team at Easts Leagues Brisbane. As a Short Order Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our customers in a fast-paced environment. This is a full time role based in our Coorparoo, QLD location.

Weekend/Night availability is required for this position.

What you'll be doing
n
Preparing a variety of dishes to order in a timely and efficient manner
n
Maintaining a clean and organised work station to ensure food safety and quality standards are met
n
Collaborating with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service and a positive customer experience
n
Adhering to all health and safety regulations and following established procedures
n
Assisting with menu development and providing feedback on new dish ideas
n
Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your skills
n
What we're looking for
n
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Short Order Cook or similar role in a fast-paced hospitality environment
n
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
n
Excellent time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple orders efficiently
n




Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
n
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to food quality
n
Food safety and hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain)
n
Must have Australian work rights
