We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Automotive Mechanic to join our PDI operations. This is a varied role, with the opportunity to work across a range of brand-current vehicles and complete a variety of inspection, preparation and mechanical tasks.
n
What you will do:
n
n
Carrying out mechanical and electrical checks, adjustments and repairs as required
n
Fully Maintain company fleet vehicles to required specifications
n
Pre-Delivery tasks/ inspections in accordance with set instructions/ standards
n
Installing accessories and ensuring all vehicle features are functioning correctly
n
Light servicing and repairs of passenger vehicles
n
Fit out (Customisation) of Vehicles as per plan and/or instructed
n
Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the compound and workshop
n
Perform required quality checks and be accountable for the workmanship of performed work
n
Ensure that required records are completed accurately and submitted on time
n
n
What you will bring:
n
n
Manual Drivers licence
n
General automotive diagnostic and automotive accessory fitment experience
n
Experience in servicing all makes and models
n
A good eye for detail and problem-solving skills highly sought after
n
Diagnostic problem solving ability
n
n
Nice to have:




n
n
Mechanical Trade (or part thereof) qualified preferred but not necessary
n
Team Leader experience an advantage
n
Dealership servicing experience ideal but not necessary
n
Previous experience in Automotive Trade and Quality Systems
n
n
