Business Development - Project Sales Executive

Predictive Recruitment Partners has been engaged by Tank Environmental Systems to find an experienced, competent, and technically driven sales professional to join their growing team based in Lisarow.
About Tank Environmental Systems: A division of Mechanical Equipment Group (MEG), Tank Enviro Systems is the exclusive distributor of Brentwood USA – Polychem Systems and associated products.
Our head office and warehouse are located on the Central Coast of NSW, providing solid support to our largest market in the Sydney basin.
However, this is a national role, with opportunities to manage and develop relationships with existing customers and future prospects across Australia.
With over 85 years' combined experience in Non-Metallic and Metallic Sedimentation Scraper Systems and Power Transmission products, Tank Environmental Systems has an outstanding reputation in the Australian wastewater industry, covering all phases from design and supply to maintenance and installation and commissioning support.
About the role: The BusinessDevelopment/ProjectSales Executive role is responsible for forensically building client relationships and expanding the client base for Polychem Scraper Systems and associated wastewater treatment products manufactured by Brentwood Industries (USA).
This role involves researching and uncovering opportunities, initiating early conversations about projects that are coming up for tender, and leveraging existing connections to build deep relationships with decision-makers before handing the sales opportunity over to the technical tendering team for the submission of solution-focused proposals across multiple water authorities, EPC contractors and industrial clients throughout Australia.
It will see you day to day:
Building a robust opportunity pipeline and accurately forecasting sales revenue
Maintaining effective working relationships with customers and the technical team
Proactively engaging with water authorities, consultants, and EPCs
Building and maintaining strong working knowledge of products and offerings
Actively monitoring upcoming infrastructure opportunities
Assisting with bid strategy and tender responses
Negotiating commercial terms to achieve balanced risk and profitability
Tracking competitor activity and regulatory changes to uncover sales opportunities.

Preparing monthly dashboard reports
Tracking competitor activity and regulatory changes to uncover sales opportunities.

On offer is a highly competitive remuneration package including a salary range of between $100,000 - $120,000 plus superannuation, a company vehicle, laptop, phone and sales driven bonus scheme.
You'll enjoy a reasonably high degree of autonomy once thoroughly familiar with the company's products and processes.
You'll be operating from the office in Lisarow on the Central Coast of NSW, with an expectation that you'll be based in the office every day in the initial stages of employment, reducing to 1 – 2 days in the office per week once fully proficient.
Interstate travel is also part of the role where you'll be representing Tank Enviro at relevant industry events and expos.
What you must have to apply for this role:
Previous experience in a sales role within the wastewater sector
Full working rights to work in Australia
Ambition to make an impact and drive revenue
Ability to travel interstate from time-to-time
Proven track record of prospecting and closing large-scale project sales
High degree of emotional intelligence enabling you to "read the room"
Attention to detail around the things that are important.
You will be highly regarded if you also have:
Established networks within water authorities, EPC, installation partners, civil/mechanical contractors, distributors, and consulting engineers
Familiarity with ISO ***** requirements.
