About the role

You will provide psychological support to children and young people, working collaboratively with families and other professionals where appropriate. The role includes psychological assessment, report writing, individual psychological support and working with parents and families. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working across these areas and tailoring their approach to the individual needs of our clients.

About you
Hold current registration with AHPRA as a psychologist
Have experience or a strong interest in working with autistic and other neurodivergent children and young people
Be confident in psychological assessment, report writing and providing psychological support
Value cooperative, individualised and strengths-based practice
Be able to work independently while also enjoying being part of a supportive team
Experience working with PDA profiles is highly regarded,



as is experience supporting young people with demand avoidance, school attendance difficulties, anxiety, emotional dysregulation and complex co-occurring presentations

About us Colour My World is a not-for-profit organisation supporting children, young people and their families. We work with autistic, ADHD and otherwise neurodivergent young people across a range of presentations, including anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties and school attendance challenges. We have a particular interest in supporting clients with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) / persistent drive for autonomy profiles, using flexible, team-oriented and low-demand approaches that respect each young person's individual needs.
