Outbound Appointment Setter - Insurance Broking | Brisbane

Barrack Broking is a Brisbane-based insurance broking business providing tailored insurance solutions to Australian individuals and businesses. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Outbound Appointment Setter / Telesales Consultant to support our broker team through high-quality lead generation.

This is a pure outbound calling role focused on qualifying prospects and booking appointments.

The Role

Reporting to the office director, you will be responsible for answering inbound enquiries and making outbound calls to prospective clients, introducing Barrack Broking's insurance services, qualifying interest, and booking appointments for our insurance brokers.

This role suits someone confident on the phone who can run structured, compliant conversations and consistently deliver quality appointments.

Key Responsibilities
Outbound cold calling to prospective clients
Conduct structured, compliant qualification conversations
Identify genuine insurance opportunities




Qualify client needs, decision-making authority, and timing
Book appointments for brokers and ensure accurate CRM notes
Handle objections professionally and progress conversations

About You
Proven outbound telesales or appointment-setting experience
Confident, skilled phone manner
Robust communication and questioning skills
Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
Reliable, organised, and detail-focused
Able to follow scripts, compliance requirements, and processes

What We Offer
You will receive a base salary of $65,000 + Super + uncapped monthly commissions: Your on target earnings will be $80,000, with high performers potential to earn over $100,000
Monday to Friday only - no weekends
