Reliant Business Insurance is a Mornington VIC based insurance brokerage helping small businesses across Australia get the right cover, with a particular focus on the trades industry. The Role n
We're looking for an Insurance Broking Assistant to support our brokers with the day-to-day administration that keeps our clients properly covered. It's a hands-on role, well suited to someone who enjoys detail-focused work and wants to build a career in insurance broking.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Process current business, renewals, endorsements and cancellations
n
Claims management, including claim lodgement, follow-up, and client communications.
n
Prepare certificates of currency, policy schedules and renewal documentation
n
Liaise with insurers and underwriters to obtain quotes and finalise policy details
n
Maintain accurate client records in our broking system
n
Respond to client enquiries regarding policy coverage and documentation
n
Support our brokers with general administrative tasks as needed
n
What We're Looking For Qualifications & Experience nn
Experience in insurance, financial services or general administration (well regarded but not essential)
n
Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualification in General Insurance, or willingness to obtain one
n
Comfortable learning new software and broking platforms
n
Skills & Attributes nn
Solid attention to detail and accuracy
n
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
n
Explicit, professional written and verbal communication
n
