About the job

Woodfrog Bakery is putting on extra production staff to get through our busiest time of year — mince pie season. Work starts mid-October and runs through the Christmas period, with a positive chance of ongoing work after that for people who do well.

The main job is making mince pies — pressing shells on the pie machine, filling them and packing them off. You'll also be working alongside our pastry team, helping them hit their production times and jumping in on pastry work when they need an extra pair of hands.

Hours

Day shift, roughly 7am to 3pm, 5 days a week. Some weekend work during the busy weeks.

What you'll be doing
Operating the pie machine — pressing pastry shells
Filling shells with fruit mince and topping them
Weighing and prepping ingredients
Working in with the pastry team to keep production on schedule
Helping out with pastry production when needed
Keeping your area clean and following food safety procedures

What we're looking for
Able to start from mid-October




Available for a 7am start, 5 days a week including some weekends
Reliable and turns up on time
Happy to stand for a full shift and lift up to 15kg
Works well in a team and can communicate with the people around you
Basic English so you can follow instructions and work safely
Valid Australian work rights

No experience needed — we'll train you on everything. If you've worked in a bakery, pastry or food production before, that's a real plus and we'd like to hear about it.
