Registered Nurses
across Dubbo for Christmas, New Year and beyond.
n
These are direct UPA employment opportunities—not agency placements. You won't just be another name filling a shift; you'll be a UPA employee and part of the team from day one.

ABOUT THE ROLE
n

As a
Registered Nurse
, you'll provide high-quality, evidence-based and resident-focused nursing care, supporting residents to lead active and meaningful lives as independently as possible.



You'll also provide clinical guidance and support to the wider care team.
n
Your responsibilities may include:
n
n
Providing clinical nursing care within your scope of practice
n
Completing clinical assessments and identifying residents' clinical care needs
n
Contributing to care plans and ensuring identified clinical needs and resident preferences are addressed
n
Providing clinical support and advice to the Residential Aged Care team
n
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date resident records
n
Providing clinical reports and recommendations to support positive resident outcomes
n
Supporting and supervising care employees to maintain appropriate clinical competencies
n
Building positive relationships with residents, families and other health professionals
n
Supporting quality, safety and continuous improvement across the home
n
n
These responsibilities reflect the clinical practice, care planning and employee-supervision requirements of UPA's Registered Nurse position.
YOU'LL BE A VALUABLE FIT IF YOU:
n
n
Are a Registered Nurse with
current AHPRA registration
n
Hold a
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
n
Have at least
12 months' post-registration experience
n
Have a compassionate and respectful approach to supporting older people
n
Have strong communication, interpersonal and active-listening skills
n
Are organised and able to effectively prioritise your workload
n




Are reliable and comfortable responding to available shifts
n
Hold current Australian working rights
n
Can work across a range of days and shift times
n
n
Previous residential aged-care experience, experience with
LeeCare and Medsig
, and current
First Aid & CPR
are desirable.

As this is casual employment, shifts will depend on operational requirements and your availability. Availability for morning, afternoon, night, weekend and public-holiday shifts will be highly regarded.
