PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: n

The primary objective of the forklift driver is to perform general forklift duties required by production.

n

Positions available: 2Shift: Shift times are currently being finalised. Applicants must be flexible to work across different shift times based on operational requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: n

n
Move pallets to the required area to be stored
n
Emptying and condensing rubbish in bins
n
Ensure pre-operational reports are completed on forklifts prior to operation
n
Operate trucks as required,



or be willing to undertake training and obtain the appropriate licence to drive trucks
n
Other general forklift duties as required
n

Quality nn
Work in accordance with positive manufacturing practices.
n
Practice valuable hygiene & sanitation procedures.
n
Contribute towards positive housekeeping at all times
n
Complete forms/ check sheets as directed.
n

OHS Systems nn
Report any incidents/ accidents or near misses &/or hazards in a timely manner.
n
Be diligent in adhering to safe work practices and company policies
n
Take reasonable care of own and other employees health and safety
n

Production nn
Work as directed by the teams management and in accordance with Company policies, procedures and work instructions
n
Responsibilities as defined by the Hazeldene’s Processing Collective Agreement
n
Cooperate with continuous improvement initiatives
n
