Senior Associate / Special Counsel (Probity, Government - Melbourne or Canberra)

Griffin Legal is a nationally operating legal and advisory firm with offices in Canberra and Melbourne (we also hire remote workers). We work for government, business and not‑for‑profits, providing high quality services.

We are looking for a passionate senior government commercial lawyer to be based in our Canberra or Melbourne office, and who can work both collaboratively and independently to deliver high quality, timely and practical advice to our clients in probity and procurement. The successful candidate will also have the chance to work in other areas in the firm including for our government, business and not for profit clients in wide range of government and commercial work.

Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of post‑admission legal experience.

This role is perfect for an experienced and highly skilled government commercial lawyer looking to join the leadership team of a collaborative and up-to-date law firm.

Salary negotiable and based on experience. Support will be provided for the suitable candidate to obtain their unrestricted practising certificate.
