PASTRY CHEF – MANLY BOATHOUSE

Manly Boathouse, a busy and highly regarded restaurant in Brisbane’s Eastern Bayside, is looking for a passionate and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team.

This role will see you…
Working with a small, dedicated pastry team and having plenty of scope to showcase your talent and creativity
Developing, innovating and evolving our range of desserts, pastries and baked goods
Maintaining exceptional presentation, consistency and quality across the pastry section
Managing stock, monitoring ingredient levels and working with suppliers
Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
Working alongside two outstanding French-trained lead pastry chefs, with experience at Institut Paul Bocuse and Compagnons du Devoir

A bit about you…
Solid experience in general pastry production
Previous experience working as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role
A qualification in Culinary Arts, Pastry, Baking or a related field
Robust attention to detail,



creativity and presentation skills
Good knowledge of food safety and pastry techniques
Confident with laminating and shaping dough
Someone who genuinely enjoys pastry and takes pride in what they produce
Keen to learn, develop and be part of a great team
