Ceilings by Design is a Queensland owned business that has supplied commercial ceiling systems to Brisbane's construction industry for over 30 years.
The Morningside team works from a purpose-built warehouse opened in ****, clean, organised and set up properly for the people who work in it.
About the Role
If you're done with casual shifts, labour hire and never knowing what next week looks like, this is the opposite.
As Ceilings by Design's Warehouse Storeperson, you'll receive, pick, pack and dispatch commercial ceiling products to live Brisbane construction sites.
It's a small crew, so there isn't always someone standing over you with the next instruction.
When a delivery comes in short, an order changes or a truck needs reloading, you'll see what needs doing and get on with it.
Experience helps, but it isn't the main thing.
Full training is provided.
What matters is that you turn up, stay positive when the day gets busy, and take pride in getting orders right.
Duties
Receive incoming deliveries, check stock against paperwork and put away accurately
Pick and pack customer orders to a high standard of accuracy
Load trucks and coordinate outbound dispatch to project sites
Keep stock counts accurate and the warehouse organised and safe
Spot and fix problems as they come up, short stock, damaged items,



changed orders
Help with occasional local deliveries when needed
Skills & Experience
We're after someone who:
Shows up on time, every time, and the team can count on
Brings a positive, can-do attitude, including on the busy days
Uses initiative and works through problems without waiting to be told
Takes care with accuracy and safety
Is comfortable with regular lifting to 25kg (team lift for heavier items)
Holds a current driver's licence
Has a forklift (LF) licence, or is keen to get one
You might come from warehousing, distribution, labouring, trades, construction, a stockroom or any job where reliability and physical work were part of the day.
Benefits
$60,000-$70,000 base + Superannuation
Permanent full-time, not casual or labour hire
Monday to Friday day shift, no nights, no weekends, no on-call
Full training, forklift licence a plus
