About the role

As our Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for the day-to-day preparation and production of pizzas, ensuring consistently high standards of quality, presentation and food safety.

Key responsibilities
Preparing pizza dough, sauces and fresh toppings
Preparing and cooking pizzas to a consistently high standard
Managing the pizza station during busy service periods
Ensuring food preparation areas and equipment are kept clean and organised
Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
Monitoring stock levels and minimising food wastage
Assisting with menu preparation and current pizza ideas
Working closely with the wider deli and food team
Providing a positive experience for our customers

About you
Has previous experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar kitchen role
Has solid knowledge of pizza preparation and cooking
Can work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced environment
Takes pride in the quality and consistency of their food
Has excellent attention to detail




Understands food safety and hygiene requirements
Is reliable, punctual and well presented
Works well independently and as part of a team
Is adaptable to work across a 7-day trading environment
Experience with high-volume pizza production and commercial kitchen operations will be highly regarded
