Job Description
We're looking for a Production Manager / Event Producer to work on the operational delivery of Ghost in The Rocks ****, a four-night festival across October 29 - November 1 at The Rocks, Sydney. This is a permanent Sydney-based role starting October 6, ****. You'll own logistics, supplier management, planning, compliance, and financial tracking. This is a hands-on role. You'll work alongside our Head of Production, manage contractors and sit in the operational decision-making loop. You'll also support planning for our other activations as the year progresses.

Key responsibilities

Logistics: bump in - out and day-of delivery
n
Supplier management: negotiating contracts, managing timelines, solving problems as they surface
n
Planning: build schedules, risk mitigation, contingency planning, and detailed run-of-show
n
Compliance: safety, accessible access, and regulatory requirements
n
Financial tracking: Cost control, and reporting
n

About you
n
n
At least five years' experience delivering large public events (festivals, concerts, outdoor activations, or similar scale)
n
Strong experience with event logistics and site management
n




Strong experience with supplier negotiation and contract management
n
Strong experience with health and safety compliance in public events
n
Solid experience with budget management and financial reporting
n
Strong experience with vendor and contractor coordination
n
Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and project management tools (Asana experience preferred but trainable)
n
Comfortable with complexity, move fast, and don't panic when something breaks at 4pm
n
Organised but flexible with a can do attitude
n
Communicate clearly across teams
