Job Description

We are seeking a practical and detail-oriented
Sales Analyst
to support our sales and management team with sales data analysis, customer reporting, market information and business planning.
Key responsibilities n
n
Collect, organise and analyse sales data, customer information, product movement, pricing records and channel performance.
n
Prepare regular sales reports, customer summaries, sales forecasts and management briefing materials for the Sales Director and senior management team.
n
Monitor sales performance against targets, budgets, promotional plans and customer account expectations.
n
Analyse supermarket, grocery, wholesale and food-service customer accounts, including sales trends, purchasing patterns, product demand and growth opportunities.
n
Review market activity, competitor pricing, customer feedback and industry trends to support sales planning and product decisions.
n
Assist with customer proposals, account plans, product range reviews, promotional planning and sales presentations.
n
Work with sales, production, warehouse, logistics and supply chain teams to review stock availability, customer demand, delivery issues and product supply matters.
n
Maintain accurate sales reports, customer records, pricing files and internal reporting templates.
n
Identify ways to improve sales reporting, customer follow-up, account monitoring and internal communication.
n




Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support business growth and management decisions.

About you n
The successful applicant will ideally have:
n
n
Experience in sales analysis, sales support, business analysis, account support or sales reporting.
n
Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, grocery, wholesale or food-service will be highly regarded.
n
Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
n
Valuable understanding of sales reports, customer accounts, pricing, promotions and sales forecasting.
n
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with accurate business information.
n
Good communication skills and ability to present information clearly to managers and internal teams.
n
Ability to work with sales, production, warehouse, logistics and management teams.
n
A practical, reliable and proactive working style.
n
