Goldenfields Water is seeking an experienced and motivated
Finance Coordinator
to join our Corporate Services team. This is a key leadership role where you will coordinate Council's core financial functions, supporting strategic decision‐making, and ensuring strong financial governance and compliance.
The Role
As Finance Coordinator, you'll play a key role in shaping the organisation's financial future, working closely with the Leadership Team to coordinate core financial operations while driving strong governance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
You will:
Lead the preparation of budgets, financial statements, and long-term financial plans
Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and legislative requirements
Oversee taxation, insurance, and audit processes
Monitor cash flow, investments, and financial performance
Lead, mentor, and support a small finance team
About You




You will bring solid technical accounting knowledge, sound leadership capability, and the ability to work collaboratively across the organisation.
A degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience)
Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
