With a strong reputation for reliability and precision, we are looking for an experienced and energetic Warehouse and Operations Supervisor to become a key part of our team.

About the Role
n
This is more than a traditional warehouse supervisor role.
n
You will be the central point of contact between our customers, office and workshop, keeping people, information, material and orders moving in the right direction.
n
Based in the warehouse, you will be the first point of contact for customers collecting orders, while also working closely with the office and production team to coordinate priorities and keep the day flowing smoothly.
n
You will supervise and support a small production team, allocate work, monitor progress and make sure orders are completed safely and on time.
n
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being around people, solving problems and getting things done. You will need a positive, approachable personality, strong communication skills and the confidence to deal with customers, tradespeople and team members throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities
n
Be the first point of contact for customers visiting the warehouse, providing friendly and skilled service.
n
Act as the key intermediary between the office, workshop and customers.
n
Supervise support and coordinate a small team of production employees.
n
Coordinate daily warehouse and production activities and priorities.
n
Allocate tasks and monitor workflow to ensure orders are completed and on schedule.
n
Communicate changes,



priorities and customer requirements between the office and workshop
n
Manage customer collections and assist with loading and dispatch
n
Maintain stock movement, dispatch and delivery records
n
Keep the warehouse safe, organised and running efficiently
n
Identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve processes
n
Assist with fabrication and general warehouse duties as required
n
Lead by example and contribute to a positive, production team environment.

About You
n
We are looking for someone who is confident, energetic and people focused, with the ability to take ownership and keep things moving in a busy environment.
n
You will ideally have
n
A current forklift licence - essential
n
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience, preferably in steel fabrication, manufacturing, warehousing or a similar environment
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
A friendly, approachable and positive personality
n
Confident dealing directly with customers and handling customer enquiries
n
The ability to build good working relationships across both the office and workshop
n
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
n
The ability to prioritise and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
n
A practical, hands‐on approach and willingness to get involved
n
A strong commitment to workplace safety and maintaining high standards
n
The ability to lead and motivate a small team
n
Willingness and availability to work afternoon shifts.
n
