Onsite Deskside Engineer

Macquarie Park, Sydney | Full-Time Ongoing Contract

Are you a hands-on IT professional who enjoys working directly with users and solving technical issues? We are seeking an Onsite Deskside Engineer to join a leading technology company supporting end users across a agile corporate setting in Macquarie Park, Sydney.

This is an excellent chance for someone with desktop support, field services, device deployment, or helpdesk experience who enjoys a mix of technical troubleshooting, hardware deployment, and customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities
Deploy, configure, and install PCs, laptops, printers, monitors, and peripheral devices.
Provide Level 1 onsite and remote support for desktop, laptop, printer, and basic network issues.
Perform hardware upgrades, replacements, workstation moves, and equipment refresh activities.
Manage IT assets, including inventory tracking, reporting, user sign-offs,



and equipment decommissioning.
Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams while maintaining strong user communication.

Skills & Experience
Experience in Desktop Support, Deskside Support, Field Services, or a similar IT support role.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, desktop/laptop hardware, and printers.
Basic networking knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot LAN connectivity issues.
Excellent communication and customer service skills with a user-focused approach.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt quickly to current technologies.
