Join a growing team working on commercial air conditioning projects.

We are looking for a Trade Assistant to join our team, assisting with the fabrication and installation of sheet metal air conditioning ductwork.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in doing things properly, and has a strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem‑solving ability. Previous experience in sheet metal, construction, air conditioning, manufacturing or a similar trade environment is highly regarded, but we are also open to the right person with the right attitude and aptitude.

About the role

Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will assist with:
Fabrication and assembly of sheet metal air conditioning ductwork
Cutting, measuring, drilling and fitting sheet metal components
Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Loading, unloading and handling materials
Assisting tradespeople with installation work on commercial building sites
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
Following plans, measurements and instructions accurately
Learning new skills and developing your trade knowledge

About you





We are looking for someone who:
Has strong practical and mechanical aptitude
Is confident using basic hand and power tools
Can measure accurately and follow instructions
Has good attention to detail and takes pride in quality workmanship
Is physically capable of working with materials and equipment
Is reliable, punctual and willing to learn
Works well as part of a team
Has a strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Previous experience in sheet metal, ductwork, construction, manufacturing or a trade setting is advantageous

You don't necessarily need to have years of industry experience — we're looking for someone who is capable, switched‑on and enjoys working with their hands.
