About the role

As an Occupational Therapist with W&W; Health Services, you will work with people with disability and complex support needs, providing practical and person-centred assessments and recommendations.

Key responsibilities
Completing & Submitting Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs)
Working with NDIS participants
Developing practical recommendations to support independence and quality of life
Writing and submitting qualified reports
Working collaboratively with support teams and other specialists
Supporting clients with complex needs across disability accommodation and community settings
Advocating for appropriate supports and services based on individual needs

About you
A recognised Occupational Therapy degree/qualification
Experience working within the disability sector – highly preferred
Experience with Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) – highly preferred
An understanding of the NDIS
Experience in or with the justice sector




Experience writing and submitting mental health and/or justice-related reports – highly desirable
Experience working with people with complex support needs
Solid written communication and report-writing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
A current National Police Clearance
A current Working With Children Check, where applicable
A current Australian driver's licence

Pay: $65.00 – $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
