As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to the highest of standards. You will work in office at the Aldinga Beach location, utilising modern diagnostic equipment and tools to deliver quality service and repairs on a variety of Polaris side by side off road vehicles. This role is essential to business operations and directly impacts customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.
Key responsibilities
Perform routine vehicle maintenance and services including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid top-ups, and greasing machines
Diagnose vehicle faults, electrical issues and hydraulic faults
Carry out repairs and servicing on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
Conduct pre-delivery inspections and quality checks on completed work
Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used and labour hours in service documentation systems
Communicate effectively with customers regarding their machine condition, required repairs and service recommendations
Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with health and safety regulations
Comply with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices throughout all repair work
Liaise with parts staff and workshop supervisor to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
About you
Trade qualification or equivalent experience as a Motorcycle Mechanic - minimum 5 year's experience would be a great advantage
Current driver's licence and proven ability to operate vehicles safely
Forklift licence is required
Robust knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, hydraulic, and brake systems
Proficiency with computerised diagnostic equipment and contemporary vehicle technology
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and customer service orientation
