High-End Detailed Cabinet Maker / Joiner – Residential Work

Capital Veneering is seeking an experienced high-end, detail-focused Cabinet Maker / Joiner to join our team delivering premium residential cabinetry and architectural joinery. This role is suited to someone with robust trade skills, a sharp eye for detail, and pride in producing precise, clean, high-quality work across both workshop manufacture and on-site residential installation.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret residential plans, drawings, and detailed joinery specifications
n
Manufacture custom cabinetry and joinery using hand tools, static machinery, and quality trade practices
n
Assemble cabinetry and detailed residential joinery items to a high-end standard
n
Install premium hardware, hinges, drawer systems, pull-outs, bins, and detailed finishing components
n
Mark out, cut, machine, and assemble joinery components accurately with a strong focus on fit, finish, and detail
n
Ensure all residential joinery is complete, detailed, finished, and ready for delivery or installation
n
Attend residential sites to install custom cabinetry, wardrobes, vanities, kitchens, laundries, and detailed joinery to a premium standard
n
Carry out accurate levelling, scribing, fixing, adjustment, and finishing in office to ensure a clean, high-end result
n
Work professionally in occupied and new residential homes, maintaining care, cleanliness, and respect for the client's property
n




Liaise with the Workshop Manager, Project Manager, and internal team to confirm project requirements and specifications
n
Adhere to WHS requirements and company policies and procedures
n
Maintain a clean and tidy work area; secure tools at end of shift
n
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of tools and equipment
n
Follow checklists, delivery lists, and other QA systems
n
Support and train
apprentices/trainees
as required
n

About You
n
n
4+ years' experience as a Qualified Tradesman in cabinet making/joinery, ideally in high-end residential work
n
Strong workmanship, pride in quality, and excellent attention to fine detail
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Reliable, organised, and able to meet production deadlines
n
Solid time management and ability to multitask
n
Proactive mindset—identifies issues early and supports continuous improvement
n
Physically capable of manual handling tasks as required
n

Qualifications & Licences
n
n
MSF***** Cert III in Cabinet Making (or equivalent)
n
White Card (CPCWHS****)
n
Class C Driver's Licence (manual preferred)
n
Ability and willingness to attend on-site residential installations as required
n
