As an integral member of the clinical team at Milsons Point Medical Centre, you will be responsible for a broad range of general practice nursing duties in a modern, well-established GP practice.

Key responsibilities

Assisting GPs with procedures and patient care
n
Immunisations and vaccinations
n
Care plans and health assessments
n
Chronic disease management
n
Wound care and dressings
n
ECGs, spirometry and other clinical procedures
n
Infection prevention and control
n
Cold chain management
n
Recalls and reminders
n
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
n

About you
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Previous experience working as a Practice Nurse in a GP or medical centre — this is essential
n
Solid clinical skills and confidence working independently
n




Experience with Best Practice software will be highly regarded
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
A proactive, organised and reliable approach
n
The ability to work efficiently in a busy general practice environment
n
A genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care and working as part of a collaborative team
