The Opportunity
n
MinRes is seeking a Functional Consultant – Finance to join our NextDigital Project team to support and drive continuous improvement across our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance program.
n
The Functional Consultant – Finance will have the ability to collaborate closely within cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to resolve issues, optimise processes, manage system changes, and deliver finance-related enhancements to ensure the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance program is used effectively across the finance function for MinRes.
n
This position will be under a 12-month fixed term contract.
n
Key responsibilities:
n
n
Gather, analyse and document business requirements for finance process improvements and system enhancements.
n
Configure D365 Finance, project management and accounting functionality in line with approved design and governance standards.
n
Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests and data issues within agreed service-level targets.
n




Coordinate with technical and integration teams to resolve complex defects and maintain functional configuration.
n
Engage stakeholders by facilitating workshops with Finance stakeholders to identify process gaps, opportunities and solution options.

What You'll Bring
n
n
Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.
n
Proven experience as a Functional Specialist or Subject Matter Expert in a specific area (e.g. Finance, HR, Supply Chain), with Dynamics 365 Finance implementation and optimisation.
n
Sound experience implementing and maintaining D365 projects (including the Finance and Operations module), across the full end-to-end project lifecycle.
n
Strong functional and technical knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, including configuration and customisation.
n
Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions within D365 Finance and Operations standard processes.
n
A track record of working effectively within cross-functional teams.
