Job Details
LAND **** BMS has been established within the Defence Delivery Group to develop and deliver one of Army's highest priority projects. Across two tranches of work, the project will build and expand upon in-service capabilities delivered under previous project phases to enhance command and control, situational awareness and targeting for the Joint Land Force.
The L3 Project Manager will provide high-level project management and leadership support to the L**** BMS Project Director within a complex, integrated project workforce.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct planning, scheduling, and estimating of work/tasks to meet Defence requirements in support of the L**** BMS Project Director.
Management of Contracts and budgets on behalf of, and with guidance from the L**** BMS Project Director.
Prepare project documentation and/or assist with the review and clearance processes for project documentation.
Provide advice on the application of project management methodologies.
Provide support to development of documentation to support the Government Approval process.
Provide expert project management assistance to Defence executives, managers, staff, and project team members.
Mentor junior project staff.

Essential Experience and / or Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant industry and/or domain work experience;
A recognised project management or related qualified qualification;
Current and relevant Defence project management experience;
Leadership experience of an integrated, multi-disciplined project team
Already have or ability to obtain a Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance
Candidate Requirements
Have an Australian Government security clearance of at least NV1.
Ability to work on site for a minimum of 3 days a week
