Job Description
Comselec Services is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Electricians to join our growing team in Epping, VIC.
This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to begin your career in the electrical trades.
As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical work.
This role is fundamental to developing the next generation of skilled electricians whilst contributing to the delivery of high-quality electrical services to our valued clients.
What you'll be doing
Assisting qualified electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
Learning to read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications
Assisting with the installation of wiring, cables, conduits, and other electrical components
Helping to test and troubleshoot electrical systems to identify faults and issues
Supporting the safe handling and storage of electrical materials and equipment
Complying with all health and safety regulations and workplace procedures
Attending approved training courses and on-the-job instruction as part of your apprenticeship
Assisting with general site tasks and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Learning to use hand tools, power tools, and specialised electrical testing equipment safely and correctly
Contributing to a collaborative and professional team environment
What we're looking for
Currently undertaking or willing to commence an approved electrical apprenticeship qualification with a registered training provider
Year 12 completion or equivalent educational qualification




A strong desire to learn and develop technical skills in the electrical trades
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
Good physical fitness and the ability to work in various environments and conditions
Strong problem-solving abilities and logical thinking
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
A valid driver's licence is preferred
Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it
