As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort and overall appearance of our hotel facilities, ensuring that every guest enjoys a pleasant and welcoming stay.
Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will directly contribute to our guests' satisfaction and our reputation for quality service.
Key responsibilities
Clean and prepare guest rooms and bathrooms to the highest standards, including changing bed linens, vacuuming, dusting and sanitising surfaces
Maintain common areas such as hallways, lobbies, lounges and recreational spaces
Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities, supplies or assistance
Report any maintenance issues, damage or safety concerns to management immediately
Stock and replenish guest room supplies, including toiletries, towels and other amenities
Follow all health, safety and hygiene protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Work efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour when interacting with guests and colleagues
Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning as required
What we're looking for
Previous experience in housekeeping, hotel cleaning or a similar hospitality cleaning role is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards




Physical fitness and stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift heavy items safely
Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional approach to guest interaction
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials and equipment, including safe handling of chemical products
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety regulations
Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends as required
A valid Police Clearance Certificate or willingness to obtain one
