FULL-TIME PERMANENT

Hairdressers – Full time (38 Hours Per Week)

Just Cuts is looking for skilled Hairdressers to join our qualified and friendly teams across various locations in Tasmania.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a comfortable experience.
Consult with clients, assess hair type and facial features, and recommend suitable styles and treatments.
Provide expert hairdressing services, including:
Shampooing and relaxing scalp massage
Style cuts for children, adults, and seniors
Beard and moustache trimming, shaping, and shaving
Blow drying and hair setting
Styling for formal events
Recommending and applying hair colouring products
Maintain and update client records in the salon's system.
Schedule appointments via phone and SMS.




Attend Just Cuts training sessions to stay up to date with the latest techniques and trends.
Educate clients on salon services and hair care products, providing recommendations and product demonstrations.
Process payments using cash registers (cash and credit card transactions).
Maintain salon hygiene by cleaning and sanitising equipment and workstations per Safe Work Australia
Open and close the salon as required.

Qualifications:
Fully qualified Hairdresser – Hairdressing Level 3.
Alternatively, three years of experience will meet the skill level requirement.

Experience:
Five years of experience preferred.

Passionate about a career in hairdressing.
Confident in promoting and demonstrating hair care and styling products to clients.
Well-groomed and well-presented.
Solid communication skills.
Works well in a team environment.
Friendly and positive personality.
Able to work in a rapid-paced environment.

Salary $79,499 to $80,000 annually
