About the role

Reporting to the National Sales & Marketing Manager, you will lead our Internal Sales & Customer Service team and be responsible for ensuring our customers receive an outstanding experience while maximising sales prospects. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will lead and develop the team while remaining actively involved in customers, quotations, sales opportunities and day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop the Internal Sales & Customer Service team.
Manage incoming enquiries and ensure they are responded to quickly and professionally.
Oversee quotations from preparation through to follow-up and conversion.
Proactively follow up outstanding quotes and sales opportunities.
Identify opportunities to increase sales through upselling and cross-selling.
Work closely with our Business Development Managers to support and convert opportunities.
Build strong relationships with customers and ensure issues are resolved quickly.
Coordinate customer requirements across Sales, Service, Production, Warehouse and Operations.
Ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
Monitor team performance and establish clear KPIs.

About you
Experience in internal sales, customer service,



sales administration or a similar role.
Previous experience leading, mentoring or coordinating a team.
Solid sales and commercial instincts.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A proactive approach to following up opportunities and getting results.
Solid organisational and time-management skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace.
Excellent attention to detail.
Confidence dealing with customers and resolving issues.
Strong computer, CRM and ERP skills.
