About the Role
n
We are seeking experienced, passionate and nurturing casualCreche Customer Service Officers to join our team, located withinBeatty Park Leisure Centre.
n
Our Creche provides a safe and stimulating environment for thechildren in our care, and as a team member you will be responsiblefor supervising and interacting with children of various ages. Youwill provide a high standard of customer service and will have ahands-on role in delivering of a range of activities including arts& crafts, reading, toys and games. You Will also be responsible forthe safety of our patrons, including general supervision as well asattending to hygiene needs as required.

The Creche is open weekdays from 8.15am – 1.15pm and onSaturdays from 7.30am – *****pm.



Our ideal candidates will beavailable to work 2-3 shifts per week (7-13 hours),
includingSaturdays,
with flexibility to also pick up relief/fill-inshifts.

Key duties of the role will include:
n

Participate in stimulating and developmentally appropriateplay activities that promote children's
emotional,intellectual,
physical and social development
n
Care, supervise and attend to children while in thecreche
n
Attend to the personal hygiene of children as needed
n
Assist the Team Leader Creche in the daily
administrativeduties
associated with the creche
n
Provide a high level of internal and external customerservice and comply with the City's Customer Service Charter atall times
n
n
Who We're Looking For
n
Candidates will have previous experience working in a creche orchildcare setting and will be available to work a range of shiftsincluding Saturday mornings. We are seeking applications fromindividuals who have the ability to show initiative, build andmaintain effective relationships with a diverse range ofstakeholders and display a friendly "can-do" attitude.
n
A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificateare essential. Previous experience working in a leisure centre orlocal government environment will also be highly regarded.
