Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced
NDIS Support Worker
to support a young participant in Casino, NSW.
What you'll do n
n
Support participants with personal care, daily living tasks, meal prep and medication prompting in line with their NDIS plan
n
Assist with community access, transport, appointments, social and recreational activities
n
Follow participant-centred support plans, behaviour support plans and house routines
n
Use safe manual handling techniques including hoists, slings and transfers where required
n
Document shift notes, incidents and progress against goals in the provider's system
n
Work respectfully alongside families, support coordinators and allied health professionals
n
Consultants who specialise in disability and NDIS, not generalist labour hire
n
Rapid, supportive onboarding so you can start earning quickly
n




Responsive allocations team you can actually reach when shifts come up
n
We respect your scope - we won't push you into shifts you're not trained for
n
What you'll need n
n
ONE of the following: Cert III or Cert IV in Individual Support (Disability), Disability, Community Services, Mental Health, Ageing Support, or equivalent - PLUS at least 6 months paid experience supporting people with disability
n
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain before first shift)
n
Manual handling competency (hoists, slings, transfers)
n
Australian work rights and a smartphone for shift bookings, timesheets and shift notes
n
Full Australian driver's license and comprehensively insured car
n
