About the role

As an HV Cable Jointer, you will play a key role in the installation, jointing, and termination of high-voltage cable systems across a variety of industrial and utility projects.

Key responsibilities
Install indoor and outdoor cable terminations to substations, transformers, switchgear, pole-top equipment, and other HV assets.
Perform HV cable jointing and termination works in accordance with manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and project requirements.
Ensure all tasks are completed safely and comply with company procedures and statutory regulations.
Complete workplace documentation, project records, and reports as required.
Work collaboratively within a team setting to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
Maintain a robust commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental standards.

About you




Certificate III in ESI – Cable Jointing
Minimum 2 years' experience in HV cable jointing
Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence
Demonstrated experience with HV inline cable joints and indoor/outdoor terminations
Sound understanding of HV electrical safety practices, procedures, and industry standards
Robust commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork
Ability to work across metropolitan, regional, and project-based locations as required
Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card) – highly regarded
Experience working within mining, power generation, renewable energy, or infrastructure sectors – highly regarded
