About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Kitchen Hands / Bakery Production to join our growing team at East Coast Cookies' in Moorabbin, Victoria. As a fulltime Kitchen Hand, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, and supporting our talented chef to deliver delicious, high-quality Cookies.

What you'll be doing
Preparing and portioning ingredients for use in recipes
Assisting the chef with various kitchen tasks as needed
Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sweeping and mopping floors, and sanitising surfaces
Packing & boxing of cookies
Contributing to a positive and cooperative team setting

What we're looking for
Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar role within the food industry
Must have a good attitude, be reliable & hard-working for our fast paced, high volume kitchen




Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
Robust teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
Passion for the industry and a desire to contribute to the success of our business

Hours

Mon 6am to 3pm

Tues to Thurs 6am to 2.30pm

Fri 6am to 11.30am

Salary

$25 - $28 per hour. Salary depending on experience
