Job Description
Full Time Position; Approximately 38 hours per week.

We are currently seeking a skilled Chef to join our dynamic team at Butter Kitchen
n
The ideal candidate should have experience in the culinary
n
field and a solid passion for creating delicious, high-quality Indian dishes.
n
This position includes a variety of duties focused on food preparation, cooking, and
n
presentation.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Preparing and cooking food as per menu
n
Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
n
Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
n
Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and
n
Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures.
n
Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
n
Select and train staff
n
Freeze and preserve foods
n
n
Qualifications and Skills:
n
n
We are seeking candidates with at least three years of experience in food preparation in
n
an Indian traditional restaurant setting. A solid understanding of kitchen
n
health and safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation practices, is
n
The ideal candidate will be skilled in various culinary techniques and comfortable using
n
kitchen equipment and tools. Attention to detail in both food preparation and
n
presentation is crucial, with a strong commitment to producing high-quality dishes.
n
You should be able to accurately and creatively follow recipes and menu plans. Strong
n
interpersonal and communication skills are a must, along with the ability to thrive in a
n
collaborative kitchen environment. Physical endurance is also important, as the role
n
involves working in a fast-paced setting and standing for extended periods.
n
