About the role

Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen. This is a hands-on role for a chef who enjoys working with outstanding produce, cooking with precision and leading a team through a busy service.

Key responsibilities
Leading the kitchen team during service and ensuring consistently high standards
Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations
Maintaining quality, consistency and presentation across the menu
Contributing to menu development and the evolution of the restaurant
Managing preparation, ordering, stock control and kitchen organisation
Training and developing junior members of the team
Maintaining food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards
Monitoring food quality, waste and kitchen costs
Ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently in a high-volume service workplace

About you
Previous Junior Sous Chef experience in a quality-driven restaurant, or robust experience as a Senior CDP ready for the next step




A strong understanding of modern restaurant cooking and high-volume service
Excellent technical and organisational skills
The ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on
A genuine interest in Greek and Mediterranean flavours, produce and cooking techniques
Robust communication skills and a calm approach under pressure
High standards and an eye for detail
A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to the wider team
