We are a growing multi-service engineering consultancy delivering high-quality transport, residential, data centres and commercial projects. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented BIM Modeller to join our team and support the delivery of coordinated, high-LOD MEP designs.
The BIM Modeller will play a key role in the modelling, coordination, and documentation of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fire services, ensuring accurate, clash-free, and construction-ready deliverables across our project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Develop HV design solutions for transmission and distribution projects.
Prepare detailed design drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with engineers, project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
Ensure designs comply with Australian Standards, utility requirements, and project specifications.
Support design reviews, constructability assessments, and project delivery.
Mentor junior designers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and experience required
Proven experience as an HV Designer within the Australian power industry.
Solid knowledge of HV substations, transmission lines, and/or distribution networks.
Proficiency with industry-standard design and drafting software.
Sound understanding of relevant Australian Standards and NSW utility requirements.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience in renewable energy or utility infrastructure projects.
Experience working with NSW electricity networks.
Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or relevant engineering/design qualification.
