About the role

AA Cabinetry is seeking a Junior Draftsman/Cabinet Maker to join our growing team in Smithfield, NSW. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting chance to develop your skills in both design and hands-on cabinet making. You will work closely with our experienced team to learn the intricacies of bespoke cabinetry design, technical drafting, and quality craftsmanship.

Key responsibilities
Assist in creating detailed technical drawings and designs for bespoke cabinet projects using CAD software
Support the production team in the workshop, learning and executing quality cabinet making techniques
Prepare material lists and cutting schedules based on approved designs
Contribute to the fabrication of cabinet components, including cutting, machining, assembly and finishing
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards





What we're looking for
No prior experience required,
Enthusiasm for learning and developing expertise in cabinet making and design
Proficiency or willingness to develop skills in CAD software and design programs
Robust attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
Excellent spatial reasoning and the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately
Valuable communication skills and customer service awareness
A valid driver's licence is desirable for site visits and client consultations
