An established and highly regarded restaurant in Noosa is seeking an experienced and driven Head Chef to lead its kitchen team.

Operating seven days a week across breakfast, lunch and dinner, this is a busy, high-volume venue with a strong reputation for quality food, consistent service and an excellent guest experience.

This is an outstanding chance for a strong culinary leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting, understands the commercial side of running a successful kitchen and knows how to build, develop and retain a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
Lead a large kitchen team across breakfast, lunch and dinner services
Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation
Oversee menu development and seasonal menu changes
Manage food costs, stock control, ordering and wastage
Manage kitchen labour costs and rostering
Recruit, train, mentor and develop kitchen staff
Maintain strong WHS, food safety and compliance standards
Build a positive, professional and accountable kitchen culture

About You





We are looking for a chef who combines strong culinary ability with proven leadership and commercial kitchen management experience.

Ideally, you will have:
Previous experience as a Head Chef or experienced Senior Sous Chef
Experience within a high-volume 200 seat restaurant or venue
Strong food costing, stock control and kitchen financial management skills
Proven experience leading and developing large kitchen teams
Experience with recruitment, rostering and labour management
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A calm and skilled approach during high-volume services
Strong knowledge of WHS, food safety and kitchen compliance
A genuine commitment to developing a positive and high-performing kitchen culture
