We are looking for a talented and passionate Pizzaiolo to join our team at Mamma Mia Italian Kitchen. If you have experience making authentic Italian pizza, love working in a quick-paced kitchen, and take pride in producing exceptional food, we'd love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and produce high-quality Italian pizzas
Manage dough, toppings, and ingredients to restaurant standards
Operate the pizza oven safely and efficiently
Maintain consistency, speed, and quality throughout service
Keep the pizza station clean, organized, and well-prepared
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen procedures
About you
Proven experience as a Pizzaiolo or Pizza Chef
Solid skills in dough preparation, stretching, and pizza production
Experience operating a pizza oven
Ability to work quickly and consistently during busy service
Passion for authentic Italian food and quality ingredients
Excellent attention to detail and presentation
Robust communication and teamwork skills
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
Experience with authentic Italian pizza, wood-fired/clay-based ovens, and traditional Italian pizza techniques is highly desirable
