Redgum Wine Estate Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly organised Full-Time Reception Centre Manager to manage and coordinate our cellar door hospitality, functions, weddings, events and visitor experiences at our winery in the Dwellingup region.

This is a hands-on management position suited to someone with robust hospitality and event experience who enjoys working with people and can oversee the smooth operation of a busy tourism and hospitality venue.

Key responsibilities

· Managing the day-to-day operations of the reception, cellar door and function areas

· Coordinating weddings, private functions and events from initial enquiry through to completion

· Liaising with clients regarding event requirements, menus, beverages, venue setup and service

· Managing function and event bookings and schedules

· Coordinating and supervising hospitality staff during regular operations and functions

· Assisting with staff rostering, training and supervision

· Overseeing the preparation, presentation and smooth operation of reception and function areas

· Maintaining a high standard of customer service and visitor experience

· Liaising with kitchen,



cellar door and management staff to coordinate events and hospitality services

· Monitoring stock and operational requirements for functions and hospitality services

· Ensuring relevant responsible service, workplace safety and operational requirements are maintained

· Assisting with the promotion and development of weddings, functions and events at Redgum Wine Estate The successful applicant will have

· Relevant experience in hospitality, functions, events or venue management

· Robust organisational and time-management skills

· Excellent communication and customer-service skills

· Experience coordinating functions or events

· The ability to supervise and coordinate hospitality staff

· The ability to manage multiple bookings, events and operational priorities

· A qualified and welcoming approach when dealing with clients and visitors

· Availability to work weekends and evenings as required

Experience in a winery, tourism or regional hospitality environment would be highly regarded.

Pay: $79,500.00 per year
